San Anselmo House In The Trees
Renovation, interior decorating, project management, accessorizing
While this house had great bones, it desperately needed updates for a modern family of four who favored bold colors and a midcentury aestetic. The lead designer for this project, Tessa Poppe, worked with the client to target the elements that would have the biggest impact as well as where we could save on budget. Instead of redoing the entire kitchen, we opted for a facelift where we painted cabinets, added new light fixtures, brass hardware, quartz countertops and a teal tile backsplash with tile from Fireclay. In the guest bath, the clients were willing to do a full renovation in return for the stunning Jennifer Sorto wallpaper paired with a patterned black and white floor. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have worked with this family who encouraged us to take risks like the pink ombre fireplace and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
